We are particularly keen to publish work from the perspective of grassroots groups and writers who promote the voices of marginalised communbities as well as those with a lived experience of racism and racial harassment. As Britain went into lockdown fears about health infection rates and the catastrophic impact on the economy set in, but something else was taking hold. We've been speaking to the anti-racism charity, The Monitoring Group, and they've noticed an alarming trend: a rise in racist hate crime.

That legacy is in the Institute, in his thinking and writings and in his method. There is no time to lose but build on this solid foundation otherwise his memory will become distant thunder.
