The Monitoring Group helped the family of Zahid Mubarek. Zahid was 19 when he was murdered by his racist cell mate Robert Stewart at Feltham Young Offenders Institution on the 21st March 2000.

The Monitoring Group helped the parents of Victoria Climbié – Francis and Berthe – during the Inquiry into her death.
